Tira is an adult female who loves nothing more than attention. She always wants to get attention and loves to cuddle on laps, or while you're sleeping. She will also settle for a back ride so she can rub her face on your face all day long. She is not too keen on other cats, but we think she seems threatened by them. Maybe in a home with one or two other cats, she would thrive, but she'd love to be the only cat in the house. Small children should be fine as she is not skittish, but you will want to clip her nails every so often to make sure that your children don't get scratched while she is trying to get attention. We are unsure of how she would do with dogs, but we do not foresee her having any problems with them. Tira is currently at our shelter, so please feel free to stop in and visit her! She is in Rooms 2 & 3. Animal Aid Humane Society is located at 239 50th Street in Moline, Illinois and is open Monday and Wednesday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Thursday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If none of these times work for you, we also show animals by appointment. Please call the shelter at (309) 797-xxxx to schedule an appointment to see the animals available. The adoption fee for an adult cat is $40. This includes all vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip, flea treat, and worming.
